Hi, I just did upgrade of our SCSI DDS3 tape archiver from HP12GB to HP 20GB(40 w comppresion). From dmesg: sa0 at ahc0 bus 0 target 4 lun 0 sa0: <HP C5683A C111> Removable Sequential Access SCSI-2 device sa0: 20.000MB/s transfers (20.000MHz, offset 15) I have two full backups without any errors but this morning I've got the following from the /kernel (sa0:ahc0:0:4:0): WRITE FILEMARKS. CDB: 10 0 0 0 1 0 (sa0:ahc0:0:4:0): BLANK CHECK req sz: 0 (decimal) asc:0,5 (sa0:ahc0:0:4:0): End-of-data detected (sa0:ahc0:0:4:0): failed to write terminating filemark(s) I am not sure what's wrong with the tape this time? What does End-of-data detected means? The backup script didn't return any errors, well at least tar c /path/to/backup didn't return error. Any ideas are welcome! Thanks in advance!
