Now it works just fine configured as: Primary master 540M HD Primary slave 1.2G HD Secondary master ATAPI CD-ROM Secondary slave nothing wdc0 at 0x1f0-0x1f7 irq 14 on isa wdc0: unit 0 (wd0): <WDC AC2540H> wd0: 515MB (1056384 sectors), 1048 cyls, 16 heads, 63 S/T, 512 B/S wdc0: unit 1 (wd1): <WDC AC21200H> wd1: 1222MB (2503872 sectors), 2484 cyls, 16 heads, 63 S/T, 512 B/S wdc1 at 0x170-0x177 irq 15 on isa wdc1: unit 1 (atapi): <FX001DE/0S 1>, removable, intr wcd0: 299Kb/sec, 128Kb cache, audio play, 255 volume levels, ejectable tray wcd0: no disc inside, unlocked Kenneth J Monville wrote: > > I have found through trial and error that the only way to get 2 hard > drives and an atapi cd-rom is to have the cd-rom on the Master slave. > Anywhere else and it won't be found.
