This file is only ~400K and I've tried the install several times without success from booting directly from the hard drive. When it says to insert the root disk, it reads drive A: and then asks for the next floppy. But when I reboot the system, I choose the Standard Boot Option, it seems to go okay, but when it goes to load the kernel and give the | / | \ spiral effect, it doesnt. It just sits on the | and locks up. In the documentation, it says under "Before you install from floppies" that the root.flp is a gzip'd cpio file. All the other files *.flp do not mention anything about gzip'd. I just used rawrite and it seems to work fine. But every *image* file I have ever seen it 1.44Megs Any help would be appreciated. Thanx
