Not true.  If I build any large port on my desktop (no (http/ftp/cvsup
daemons), I can't hardly type due to Giant and the IRQ my SCSI controller
uses.  (I feel like I'm using Linux. :-( )

Until we get something done about Giant disk activity has a larger impact
on the system than it should.
