You should be reading this list if you run -current!

Cvsup up to date sources.
Build a new kernel.
Install kernel.
Edit /etc/rc.conf to *not* load the linux module at boot time.
Reboot.
make world
Edit /etc/rc.conf to load the linux module at boot time.
Either reboot or kldload the linux module.
