And now I can't get the syslogd to log from my routers. Put the old server back on and logs fine, so the config on routers are ok. I have configured the /etc/syslog.conf file to exactly as in old box and restarted syslogd. Is there something I'm missing? Please help. I tried: syslogd -a *isot.com:* syslogd -a *.isot.com:* syslogd -a *.isot.com syslog.conf contains: local0.* /var/log/routers/nas1.log local1.* /var/log/routers/gw-kln.log local2.* /var/log/routers/max3.log local3.* /var/log/routers/max2.log local4.* /var/log/routers/max1.log ------------------------------------------------- This mail sent through ISOT.
