Build mail/exim with WITH_MYSQL=YES, then rather either using the /usr/local/etc/rc.d/exim.sh file, or modifying /etc/mail/mailer.conf and starting "sendmail" from /etc/rc.conf will fail, since the libraries haven't been ldconfig'd. Since this is only one shared library, I believe an appropriate fix would be to drop in a symlink from /usr/local/lib to /usr/local/lib/mysql for libmysqlclient.so.6 -- it would then be picked up by the normal /etc/rc process and handled correctly. Of course, the other option is to add /usr/local/lib/mysql to ldconfig_paths in /etc/rc.conf, but that will probably be a little trickier to cover all the cases. -aDe -- Ade Lovett, Austin, TX. ade@FreeBSD.org FreeBSD: The Power to Serve http://www.FreeBSD.org/ To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-ports" in the body of the message
