Instead of creating a new boot floppy, I just chose Upgrade from stand/sysinstall under 2.2.6. I have rebuilt a custom kernel. But my -auto ppp connection is toast. During bootup, there is a dmsg response: Magic number invalid. Should I do a complete download from a boot floppy, or is there a way to update ppp?
