I am trying to install FreeBSD on a new Pentium PC running Windows '95. I copied the contents of the bin and floppies directories (using FTP) to c:\bsd\bin and c:\bsd\floppies, created a new partition, and booted the boot.flp floppy. I got through the novice installation script, but the last step aborts with the message: write failure on transfer! Before this, the status line indicates that a bit more than 100KB had been read from element 1 of 59. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
