FreeBSD releases announcements like this one: https://lists.freebsd.org/pipermail/freebsd-stable/2021-February/093047.html Gets re-posted at a lot of places, like for example here: https://www.phoronix.com/scan.php?page=3Dnews_item&px=3DFreeBSD-13.0-BETA1 These announcements are very long and verbose, with lines and lines of hash= es, but lack the most important part: a link to the release notes. The message does says: > Please note, the release notes page is not yet complete, and will be > updated on an ongoing basis as the 13.0-RELEASE cycle progresses. But please indicate where the damn "release notes page" is! I've used FreeBSD for over 20 years and I find these announcements frustrat= ing. I think right after "The first BETA build of the 13.0-RELEASE release cycle= is now available.", a new line: "Work in progress release notes are available here: https://xxxxx" Should be added. Thanks you for your work. --=20 You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.=
