Open |O|> custom.mc in your favorite editor and uncomment(remove the leading |O|> 'dnl') the line concerning RBL. Save the file, exit the editor, cd to |O|> src/etc/sendmail, type "make custom.cf", then copy the resulting |O|> custom.cf file over the sendmail.cf that's already in /etc/mail. This has got to be one of the best replies I've seen in a long time. Right to the point and extremely helpful! I also went to http://maps.vix.com/rss/how.html and followed their instructions for sendmail 10 by simply adding 4 lines to my custom.cf file and voila!
