Hi, Maybe a newbie question, but I really do not understand one little bit of sendmail.... I've got the following problem when running fetchmail as a normal user from my system. It tries to retrieve the email through POP3 from my ISP. As far as I'm aware fetchmail tries to open an SMTP connection to localhost to deliver it to the users mailbox.... Here's the output: %fetchmail -a 160 messages for <loginname> at <ISP mailserver> (644207 octets). reading message 1 of 160 (2442 octets) .fetchmail: SMTP connect to localhost failed fetchmail: can't raise the listener; falling back to $sendmail T.bliekp: not found fetchmail: MDA exited abnormally or returned nonzero status not flushed fetchmail: socket error while fetching from <ISP mailserver> fetchmail: Query status=2 (SOCKET) Anyone able to give me a nice hint on this? What am I doing wrong? O, some vital info maybe: I'm running 4.3 Stable, did a succesfull cvsup and make world etc. yesterday... Maybe I missed something while merging configfiles???
