 Actually you may or may not find this of some interest, but in Apache: The Definitive Guide (O'Reilly 2nd Edition) it states 
the following:

 "The Microsoft Frontpage extensions are available from Microsoft. These add extensions to support Microsoft's Frontpage 
authoring product. However, the Apache Group feels that they introduce serious security problems which is why they are 
not mentioned on the Apache site."

 Considering what it gives you .vs. what you MAY or MAY NOT incur damage-wise, is it really worth bothering with? Most 
web providers out there just allow their clients to ftp their websites manually (in my experience anyways). I realize this 
reply helps about as much as having another hole drilled into your head, but it's just my two cents.
