There's no need for that. Just comment out the 'sshd auth required pam_unix.so' line in /etc/pam.conf (4.9) or the 'auth required pam_unix.so' line in /etc/pam.d/sshd (5.1). Beware that if you have uncommented any of the "sufficient" lines you should make sure that there is a "required" or "requisite" line after them (pan_deny.so is good for this) or you might be surprised.
