Meanwhile I recognized that the installed version of the docproj port
on my machine is somewhat old and when I checked more up to date files
on Norman Walsh's site I saw that maybe my problems already have been
fixed.  I am currently updating my ports and hope that everything
works fine, after that.

I'm sorry for asking to the list before having done deeper
investigation of the problem!
