Thanks for all the replies. Yes, I picked the wrong file name, I just did a "strings boot/boot*" and there is indeed this /boot.config in boot2. And it will not do the job as I experienced. But changing the name to /boot/loader.rc did the trick. Just too much flexibility, it seems :-). Thanks for your efforts! Joerg -- Joerg B.
