Compile fails at the same point every time. It started failing after a CVSup this morning. Yesterday morning's sup worked fine. I've re-sup'd to make sure I didn't catch something "in the middle." (I'm running an older kernel because fxp has been broken for me since the 7th but I have been doing regular sups and compiles.) This problem happens when compiling GENERIC as well as my custom kernel. cc -c -O -pipe -mcpu=pentiumpro -Wall -Wredundant-decls -Wnested-externs -Wstrict-prototypes -Wmissing-prototypes -Wpointer-arith -Winline -Wcast-qual -fformat-extensions -ansi -g -nostdinc -I- -I. -I/users/FreeBSD-5.0/src/sys -I/users/FreeBSD-5.0/src/sys/dev -I/users/FreeBSD-5.0/src/sys/contrib/dev/acpic a -I/users/FreeBSD-5.0/src/sys/contrib/ipfilter -D_KERNEL -include opt_global.h -fno-common -mno-align-long-strings -mpreferred-stack-boundary=2 -ffreestanding -Werror /users/FreeBSD-5.0/src/sys/dev/firewire/if_fwe.c cc -c -O -pipe -mcpu=pentiumpro -Wall -Wredundant-decls -Wnested-externs -Wstrict-prototypes -Wmissing-prototypes -Wpointer-arith -Winline -Wcast-qual -fformat-extensions -ansi -g -nostdinc -I- -I. -I/users/FreeBSD-5.0/src/sys -I/users/FreeBSD-5.0/src/sys/dev -I/users/FreeBSD-5.0/src/sys/contrib/dev/acpic a -I/users/FreeBSD-5.0/src/sys/contrib/ipfilter -D_KERNEL -include opt_global.h -fno-common -mno-align-long-strings -mpreferred-stack-boundary=2 -ffreestanding -Werror /users/FreeBSD-5.0/src/sys/dev/firewire/sbp.c cc1: warnings being treated as errors /users/FreeBSD-5.0/src/sys/dev/firewire/sbp.c: In function `sbp_action1': /users/FreeBSD-5.0/src/sys/dev/firewire/sbp.c:2224: warning: int format, different type arg (arg 6) *** Error code 1 Stop in /users/FreeBSD-5.0/obj/users/FreeBSD-5.0/src/sys/GENERIC. *** Error code 1 Stop in /users/FreeBSD-5.0/src. *** Error code 1 Stop in /users/FreeBSD-5.0/src. nomad ----------- The cry has been that when war is declared, all opposition should therefore be hushed. A sentiment more unworthy of a free country could hardly be propagated. If the doctrine be admitted, rulers have only to declare war and they are screened at once from scrutiny ... In war, then, as in peace, assert the freedom of speech and of the press.
