I've got an ATI Graphics Ultra+ (Mach32) > card. This chipset (Mach 32) is known for this behaviour. I've got already some 2 or 3 reports for this chipset which sound identical to your problem. Other Mach chipsets (Mach 64) don't show this problem. It seems to be a problem in the support for this chipset/board in XFree86 - i really recommend reporting this to the XFree team or ask, if this already has been fixed! hellmuth -- Hellmuth Michaelis hm@altona.hamburg.com Hamburg, Europe (A)bort, (R)etry, (I)nstall BSD ?
