Sometimes "file system" was used, sometimes it was "filesystem". Before committing it, I read previous commits (one was same as mine), manual pages and some Marshall Kirk McKusick's doc (http://www.usenix.org/publications/library/proceedings/usenix99/mckusick.html for example), and it really seemed that it was "filesystem". I don't have that -developers thread, I should look on freefall for archives, but maybe someone could sum up it?
