If so, check out xf86config - there are options in there that determine monitor characteristics. You could check out the FreeBSD Handbook and www.xfree86.org/ for more details on fine tuning these settings. You may have to refer to your monitor manual for the correct settings. There are resources on the 'net that create a modeline (that specifies these settings) for your card but unfortunately I can't remember where the one I used was.
