while doing something like 'tar xfz /net/host/var/tmp/xyz' host 'host' crashed
(with a little help from me :-), i was upset, because i was waiting for the tar
to finish, but then i remembered i was using nfs, and all i had to do is wait
for 'host' to come back, but tar gave  'interrupted syscall' :-(

is this a new feature or a bug?
