I do this here.
I have one machine with /usr/src and /usr/obj, and I do the buildworld on
it.  ALSO, use that central machien to build the various kernels also.
Then NFS mount /usr/src and /usr/obj on each client machine in turn, do
the make installworld, then make install the kernel.  Works like a charm,
never had any problems (other than a bit of stupidity in routing once or
twice).
