I have one machine with /usr/src and /usr/obj, and I do the buildworld on it. ALSO, use that central machien to build the various kernels also. Then NFS mount /usr/src and /usr/obj on each client machine in turn, do the make installworld, then make install the kernel. Works like a charm, never had any problems (other than a bit of stupidity in routing once or twice). *-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-* | FreeBSD; the way computers were meant to be | * "The only reason I'm burning my candle at both ends, is * | that I haven't figured out how to light the middle yet."| * fullermd@futuresouth.com :-} MAtthew Fuller * | http://keystone.westminster.edu/~fullermd | *-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-* To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-net" in the body of the message
