Well so long as your 3D accelerator is supported under FreeBSD, all you need to do is run the install.exe program on the half-life cd with wine, and it should do all the configuring for you... Its just a matter of making the wine config file point to the right places on your system, make like a /usr/win or something.. then under that you just have to make a tree like: /usr/wine/ /usr/wine/windows /usr/wine/windows/system /usr/wine/games then in the wine config, make C: point to /usr/wine I also find making D: point to /usr/half-life-cd and copy all of the cd into that... thats pritty much all you need to do, then run the install program and any update patchs using wine and it will create the needed registery for you! I havent been able to play single player, but it works fine for network play :) To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-stable" in the body of the message
