This should be enough: $ netstat -naf inet Make sure there is no sendmail listening (port 25 or 587). > # tail -f /var/log/maillog Looks like you either have a botched cf file or there is some other daemon interference. Is this a new install? What have you done/installed/configured relating to mail software? Rebuilt the system?
