In case anyones' wondering... I've been meaning to do this for a while. This is the first phase in making rc.d networking more useful after system startup. I plan to add functionality like being able to bring up and take down individual interfaces or classes of interfaces. I also want to enhance aliases so that removing one from the list doesn't mean you have to renumber them all.
