It appears to me that it's still broken in 2.1.7. 8-( . Why am I installing from floppies? Laptop with no ethernet.... 8-(( . Anyhow, I have tried both MS-DOS and Unix formatted floppies, with the bin.a.. files in the floppy / and /bin directories. In all cases cases, install reports it can't find the distribution. I even tried making it /dist/bin/bin.a.. on the floppy. -- Jim Durham
