(Probably not?) I seem to have a bug which hogs the CPU for a few moments whenever certain applications are iconified. This only happens with certain SHAPE style icons, i.e. xv, knews. Other SHAPE icons from the twm distribution, i.e. xterm, don't seem to have this problem. The CPU gets swamped while 'painfully' drawing/redrawing the icon on the root window.
