Maybe something like:

ep1: <3Com Etherlink III 3C589> at port 0x240-0x24f irq 11 slot 0 on pccard0

That's likely because there's a ep0 attached to the isa bus, or at
least that's what the hints say.

It is harmless.  Just use $device in /etc/rc.conf and you'll be fine.
