I'm not familiar enough with the newer intricacies of the ports system these days. I'm just a little OCD about only having ports installed which are needed for runtime and I usually run pkg_clean after every port update run to remove unneeded things. GCC just popped out as being unneeded to run mediatomb. -- Matt
