If you rebuilt eclipse against firefox 1.5, then all I can say for the moment is that I see similar behavior, too. My temporary workaround is to build eclipse without any WITH_MOZILLA settings, so that it is built against the mozilla headers. You do have to have mozilla installed though, in addition to firefox.
