I have several vendor's configuration programs for boards using this chip, but all check a signature in the EEPROM before allowing you to manipulate the config values stored there. Back when I gave a damn I used to rewrite the EEPROMs on other cards using this part (and other similar Winbond et.al. parts) to look like a supported vendor's card. These days I just buy cards with jumpers 8) > --Brett -- ]] Mike Smith, Software Engineer msmith@atrad.adelaide.edu.au [[ ]] Genesis Software genesis@atrad.adelaide.edu.au [[ ]] High-speed data acquisition and (GSM mobile) 0411-222-496 [[ ]] realtime instrument control (ph/fax) +61-8-267-3039 [[ ]] Collector of old Unix hardware.
