Have a look at the 'portsearch' tool here: /home/munk/ports/Tools/scripts/portsearch A quick search using: portsearch -i "\bping\b" returned 9 ping related tools in the ports tree, hopefully one of them helps you out. >From experience I know fping to be easy enough to integrate into a custom script.
