What "Freesbie" are you talking about? Phk was referring to the second version of the toolkit I presented recently in Ottawa, that is perfectly usable for embedded system and it's ready to welcome new platforms. It is already ported for powerpc architecture and I want it to be ported to the arm and other archs (I don't have the hardware). Porting is really trivial. I suggest you to take a look: http://www.freesbie.org/~saturnero/FreeSBIE-BSDCan06-devsummit.pdf anonymous@cvs.freesbie.org module freesbie2 or: http://bugs.freesbie.org/dir?d=3Dfreesbie2 pfSense embedded images, which you mentioned in this thread, are a great example of use of FreeSBIE for packing a FreeBSD embedded 'distro'. --=20 Dario Freni (saturnero@freesbie.org) FreeSBIE developer (http://www.freesbie.org) GPG Public key at http://www.saturnero.net/saturnero.asc --------------enig910DC26DB4CB9D183DEEDB71 Content-Type: application/pgp-signature; name="signature.asc" Content-Description: OpenPGP digital signature Content-Disposition: attachment; filename="signature.asc" -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.1 (Darwin) iD8DBQFEdrLcymi72IiShysRAlcbAJ44uXULdFf0gbvhZNOIS0xi4i2irACgkBn0 xpL+aS3xyy8En4aksDyONbs= =T8DB -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --------------enig910DC26DB4CB9D183DEEDB71--
