I awoke this morning to find that neither NTPD or portsnap were working
correctly. Error message from NTPD:
Mar 26 07:43:34 scorpio ntpd[66279]: error resolving pool 0.freebsd.pool.nt=
p.org
hostname nor servname provided, or not known (8)=20
And this one from portsnap:
Looking up portsnap.FreeBSD.org mirrors... none found. =
=20
Fetching snapshot tag from portsnap.FreeBSD.org... failed. =
=20
No mirrors remaining, giving up
I am trying to figure out if this is a localized problem.
