Hi... I'm missing something in my NIS setup, and can't seem to figure out where/what it is :( Basically, on the client machine, I've started up ypbind -s. As root, I can type in, on that machine 'chsh <userid>', and it will bring up the appropriate entry from the server machine to be modified. If I try to login to the client machine, though, it won't accept that password. I'm assuming that since it is doing "part" of it right, that there is something I'm missing to get login to accept the userid/passwds, but can't find it :( And, of course...man pages are a little limited on its information for this, and I don't have the NFS/NIS O'Reilly book yet :( Any recommendations?
