I have 1 IP assigned to my dedicated 33.6 and I'm not running any
ipfiltering or a proxy

Got me. It just works. I'm no unix guru. I just installed the unix box as
a gateway and pointed the win95 machine to the gateway . Like I said I'll
be willing to send any files off the unix box that may shed light to this.
