FreeBSD works fine with it, i just cant do RAID using the Bios because FreeBSD does not recognizes it. Anyway i can create the RAID using atacontrol : ar1: 156334MB status: READY ar1: disk0 READY (master) using ad12 at ata6-master ar1: disk1 READY (mirror) using ad14 at ata7-master I dont know if the system have the same performance using this PseudoRAID. Does any one have a fix to FreeBSD recognize SiI 3114 metadata? I took a loot at /usr/src/sys/dev/ata/ata-raid.c, it have some things about a "Silicon Image Medley" metadata, unfortunally i dont have knowledgement to try to fix it. Can anyone help me? Dmesg output attached. Thanks in advance ------=_NextPart_000_003F_01C612D1.EEC76E70 Content-Type: text/plain; format=flowed; name="dmesg.txt"; reply-type=original Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable Content-Disposition: attachment; filename="dmesg.txt" Copyright (c) 1992-2005 The FreeBSD Project.
