Hi

Some guy told me to issue the following command to automatically mount
the devices on my computer running FreeBSD 2.2.2 "MAKEDEV all" and now
when I rebooted the computer, I get the following messages:
/dev/rwd0a: UNREF FILE I=1 OWNER=root MODE=60640
/dev/rwd0a: SIZE =0 MTIME=MAR 2 12:41 1998 (CLEARED)
....
/dev/rwd0a: FREE BLK COUNT(S) WRONG IN SUPERBLK (SALVAGED)
/dev/rwd0a: BLK(S) MISSING IN BIT MAPS (SALVAGED)
/dev/rwd0a: SUMMARY INFORMATION BAD (SALVAGED)
/dev/rwd0a: CLEAN FLAG NOT SET IN SUPERBLOCK (SALVAGED)
/dev/rwd0a: 853 files, 22918 used, 8857 free (9 frags, 1106 blocks,
0.0% fragmentation)
/dev/wd0s1f: No such file or directory
Can't stat /dev/wd0s1f
Automatic file system check failed... help!
Enter pathname of shell or RETURN of sh: <return>
erase ^H, kill ^U, intr ^C

I'm not quite sure what happened; I can't logon as a user anymore.

Would somebody be kind enough tell provide me with insight as what might
have happened and how I can fixit.

thank you
satnam
