Hi Brian, that price is for the chipset, probably a single chip It probably only needs voltage generation hw to produce the correct interface voltage (see below). Very cool price as this is in the ball park of what name brand (National & AMD) 10 MBit parts go for, bringing manufacturing costs in the $35/card range (don't quote me on this).
