Many thanks to all people who replied to my question about Apache and SPML
on DEC OSF/1. I tried everything you mentioned with no success, and I was
running the latest version of the software which I downloaded from the
Apache website. Now, I'm pretty sure that the OSF/1 implementation of
Apache is broken, so I'll report this as a bug.
