Hello all.. I am running SLIP through a 1.1.5.1 system, and I need the machine on the far end of the link to be seen on the rest of the network. Like this: ________________ -------> SLIP <-------------------|PC at home: (winsock) |136.186.16.10 |136.186.16.9 v |________________ --------------------------- |homer.prahran.swin.edu.au| |FreeBSD 1.1.5.1 | --------------------------- | <-Ethernet | 136.186.16.11 ____ |--------------------------------------------/ \ Cisco \____/--------->Internet How is this done. FreeBSD doesnt seem to advertise the SLIP machine (16.9) on the network. Ive tried arp publishing, different routing commands, all of which dont seem to do much... Thank you! Aaron Elliott, CNA.
