I've used coldsync under both FreeBSD and OpenBSD with my visor, and found it to work just fine on both systems. It comes with some sample code for developing your own conduits, which I will hopefully someday use to develope across-the-network conduits for the box I work on at work, to sync to our "Family Calendar" feature. Well worth looking into. -- "Where am I, and what am I doing in this handbasket?"
