You can use nested labels. You can a create a bsdlabel inside a bsdlabel. I don't know the limit of nesting. I doubt you'll ever need more than 7**2 partions, or 7**3 partitions, or ... Then you can use glabel to assign names to the partitions, so you won't have to remember the exact partioning scheme.
