Its an X question, but I got no response on their mailing lists. I'm thinking it might be a FreeBSD settings glitch: I noticed that I can't do X forwarding any more using SSH. It all happened after I switched to dhcp. Here is the log of the error during a regular X session: Script started on Fri Dec 14 18:28:12 2001 xauth: (argv):1: bad display name "c888746-a.attbi.com:0" in "list" command xauth: (argv):1: bad display name "c888746-a.attbi.com:0" in "add" command xauth: (argv):1: bad display name "c888746-a.attbi.com:0" in "remove" command Script done on Fri Dec 14 18:28:40 2001 Here is what "xauth list" tells me: c888746-a.attbi.com/unix:0 MIT-MAGIC-COOKIE-1 e0cae68d99242b............
