FreeBSD 5.2.1's installer sees my fxp0 device (supported EtherExpress Pro/100B PCI), but does not allow me to use it. I cannot get the boot CD to see the network. Does anyone know if a fix exists? Am I missing a boot time option? Someone (below) was able to fix fxp0 issues with an addition of hint.fxp.0.prefer_iomap="1" to device.hints. Is it possible to pass this option to the boot CD?
