[-- Attachment #1 --] Since about a month ago I can no longer use wep encryption with up to date ndis. fk@TP51 ~ $uname -a FreeBSD TP51.local 5.4-STABLE FreeBSD 5.4-STABLE #28: Mon Jan 2 12:37:11 CET 2006 fk@TP51.local:/usr/obj/usr/src/sys/THINKPAD i386 root@TP51 /root #ifconfig ndis0 wepkey 0x$key ifconfig: SIOCS80211: Invalid argument On FreeBSD 6.0 this means you have to kldload wlan_wep.ko, but on FreeBSD 5.4 there is no wlan_wep.ko. ATM I use ndis modules from an older build without trouble. Is anybody else seeing this?
