After updating linux-opera to latest version using "portupgrade -R", installed (and previously working) plugins like linux-flashplugin-5.0r51 and acrobat5 has stopped working - visiting sites that support these applications to do load or display documents / graphics, E. G. http://www.macromedia.com/shockwave/welcome/ dosw not load the graphics in the lower box.

Visiting the above link produces the following error in terminal from which opera is launched from the cmdline:
$ cannot open file "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/XftConfig"
linux: 'ipc' typ=258 not implemented
/usr/local/share/opera/plugins/operamotifwrapper: relocation
+error: /usr/X11R6/lib/libXm.so.2: undefined symbol:
+XShapeQueryExtension

operamotifwrapper in installed as per the opera support page:
/usr/local/share/opera/plugins $ ldd operamotifwrapper
