I run miltiple Os on my mackine (Win98 and BSD 2.2-6). The networkinterface
(3com3c509 combo), works fine in Win98 but not i BSD.

The problemdefenition:

I get about 93% packet loss. So IP works bad. But the arp table gets the
MAC adress for the host I pinged (with its IP adress).

The ifconfig command tells me "the right values", according to me. That is
"Up, Running. simplex etc". The loopback is configured and works fine. I
can ping localhost; that works fine.

please, help.
