I dont *think* there is support for this card, at least certainly not in
RAID mode. You might want to ask on the scsi mailing list for the
definitive answer, or better yet, search through the archives as this is a
common question that comes up.

I would go with the 2940 as it is probably the best supported.  There are
some new drivers in the works for the NCR cards, but they have not yet made
it to the 3.x RELEASE tree.  That being said, there are people happily
using the NCR cards, but YMMV.  But like I said, go with the Adaptec
2940UW.
