The system is a DELL PowerEdge 1950 with a SAS 5 controller, single 180G ATA HD. Dell SAS 5 Host Bus Adaptor BIOS MPTBIOS - 6.06.00.02 2006.04.05 LSI Logic Following a successful install and reboot the system fails to come up. The boot process ends with the following (very slowly, so that I could spell it all out): mpt0: mpt_cam_event: 0x16 mpt0: Unhandled Event Notify Frame. Event 0x16 (ACK not required). unknown: timeout waiting for read DRQ bce0: link state changed to DOWN bce1: link state changed to DOWN acd0: CDRW at ata0-master UDMA33 Is there a bug report on this? Any prognosis for a fix before 6.2-RELEASE?
